Chelsea’s studio practice includes exploration and documentation. Part of her field studies of abandoned homesteads in Wonder Valley have yielded a rich archive of photography of the sparsely populated region of Southern California’s High Desert. In addition to creating stand alone works, she often incorporates her photographs into mixed media works.
